These large oil paintings are honestly just me falling in love with the birds we walk past every single day. You know the ones. Pigeons, house finches, crows. The ones that are always there but somehow we don't really see them.
I spent so many hours on each of these because I wanted to honor these birds and have people take a second glance. They're absolutely beautiful in their own right and deserve more respect than we give them. When you really look at a pigeon's feathers or catch the sweet little face of a house finch, it makes you think about all the other things in your daily life that you might be taking for granted too.
